Summary: I had been looking for a place to stay with my senior mother as we had never been able to afford a vacation when I was younger. This was a great place to stay. Clean, plenty of room for the both of us, they provided dishes and linens, movies, cleaning supplies and fans + air conditioning. The only things I think could have been improved on was that the one bed is very loud and creaky, so loud in fact that I ended up sleeping on the couch because it would have woken up my mom in the other room if I had to get up during the night. The couch however, was extremely comfortable and right next to the air conditioner so I thoroughly enjoyed that. The water pressure also could have been better for the shower, but I understand, it’s a cottage so there isn’t much to be done about that. The shoreline is mucky (which we were told of beforehand) so no swimming there, but the Wasaga beaches are only a 20 minute drive and they are fantastic. If you just want to spend time ON the water, Lee does provide paddleboats, kayaks and a canoe and they have a dock to launch from. The backyard was great to lounge and hang out, we were comfortable and felt safe the whole time, and within the first day we were calling it “home”. Would definitely stay again, but for longer. Time flew while we there.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay at Orr Lake! Lee was very responsive and friendly if we had any questions. The place was incredibly clean, warm and beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything you could need for a trip away. . Also a great place to return to after some outdoor adventures! The lake is lovely also. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks Lee!

Summary: Everything was as advertised. The cottage was super easy to get to. It isn't very private but if you aren't looking for seclusion its perfect. There is a corner store and LCBO across the street as well. It's cozy and has a great view and a lovely screened in porch for rainy days. The owners were great at communicating and met me there for check in and a tour. I'll definitely be back again!
